Good morning everybody. Here’s another video. Another weekend of family adventure.
We went to visit the coastal area of Sintra, more specifically Praia Grande. A very pleasant area with a huge beach. We climbed the stairs next to the cliff and then went to the geodesic landmark area. Beautiful landscapes for those who like to spend a good few hours listening to the sound of the sea and being one with nature.
I leave here a video in which I share some details of this same adventure. A good week everyone
The Piani di Castelluccio are a karst-alluvial plateau of the central Apennines (Umbria-Marche Apennines), located on the Umbrian side of the Sibillini Mountains, at the foot of Monte Vettore (Cima del Redentore). It falls within the territory of the municipalities of Norcia (PG) (near the hamlet of Castelluccio), Castelsantangelo sul Nera (MC) and the Sibillini Mountains National Park.
After an excellent holiday in the Algarve we decided to come to Lisbon close to the border instead of going along the Vicentina coast. We went to discover the São Domingos mines near Mértola. A beautiful land with its plains and even a very pleasant river beach. The road is very good and access is very easy, as always the Alentejo in Portugal never disappoints.
The porticoes of Bologna represent an important architectural and cultural heritage for the city and are a symbol of it together with the numerous towers. There is no other city in the world that has as many porticoes as Bologna: all together the porticoes measure almost 40 kilometers in length in the historic center alone, which reach 62 km if you count those outside the city centre.
Due to their artistic-cultural relevance, from 2021 a part of the Bolognese porticoes is a UNESCO world heritage cultural asset.
The longest portico in the world is that of San Luca, which measures 3,796 meters and consists of 666 arches: starting from the Arco Bonaccorsi at Porta Saragozza it leads to the top of Colle della Guardia, where the famous Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca rises . The place is a destination for pilgrims to venerate the icon of the Virgin and Child.
The portico was built between 1674 and 1721 with the contribution of the entire citizenry. The project by Camillo Saccenti and Gian Giacomo Monti was completed by Carlo Francesco Dotti, who also designed the Arco del Meloncello.[13] Along the portico you can admire the first arch built by the architect Monti, the statues of the Fat Madonna and the Child by Andrea Ferreri and fifteen small chapels in which the mysteries of the Rosar are painted
Swiss landscape in the Region of Valais, canton of Switzerland. Towards the end of the valley, the town of Visp is visible. From here, one goes up towards Saas-fee or towards Zermatt (Matterhorn Region). A very warm year, with already no more snow in February below 1600-1800 ASL.

Christmas Eve (2023.12.24) traditionally on the summit of Monte Generoso (1703 ASL), South of Switzerland on the Italian border. This year very warm for the season, no wind, beautiful view of the Swiss and Italian Alps. We even had a nice slice of panettone!
During the last weekend I took a trip with my family to get to know this area of Alentejo.
I grabbed the Drone and let’s fly. I started in Carrasqueira, Comporta and later at Melides beach where I was amazed by what I saw. I hope you like it just like I did
Also there is a drone video, if you like to see just take a look.
