Amazon Deal Days 2024: the ultimate guide to the best drone deals
Looking for incredible drone deals this Amazon Deal Days 2024? Whether you’re a hobbyist, aspiring photographer, or tech enthusiast, what Amazon claims is its “biggest sales event of the year so far” is a good opportunity to score high-quality drones at unbeatable prices. We likely won’t see deals this good again until Black Friday 2024. So if you can’t wait another nearly two months, jump on these drone deals now.
If you like what you see though, you don’t have a lot of time to think about it. Most of the deals below will only be there through Oct. 9 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
But with that, I’ve found the best drone deals, as well as deals on drone-adjacent products that drone pilots will love:
The best Amazon Deal Days 2024 discounts:
Top drone deals on Amazon Deal Days 2024
1. DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo
- Regular price: $1,549
- Deal price: $1,239 (20% off)
- Key features: Dual cameras, 4K video, 48 MP images, O4 HD transmission
- Why it’s a deal: For photographers who demand a high-quality camera, I easily recommend the DJI Air 3 as the top drone for beginners. It strikes a perfect balance between easy to fly, but also impressive quality. Now this version is the Fly More Combo, which is more expensive than the standalone drone, but it’s worth it. It comes with the DJI RC 2, which is a well-worth it controller given the built-in screen.
I will add, the standalone DJI Air 3 is also on sale for 20% off, which brings the $1,099 price tag down to $874. If you’re on a budget, this is also a killer deal. Though, you only get the DJI RC-N2 controller, which isn’t such a seamless flying experience.

2. Holy Stone HS720
- Regular price: $249
- Deal price: $199
- Key features: 4K camera, GPS-assisted flight, and long-range transmission.
- Why it’s a deal: Look, Holy Stone is not as reputable a brand as the big dawg, DJI. If your budget is $199 and you truly want the best drone, I’d honestly recommend the DJI Neo for the same price. That said, many people have been seeking DJI alternatives as of late — in which case this fits the bill.
3. DJI Osmo Mobile 6
- Regular price: $139
- Deal price: $120
- Key features: 3-axis stabilization, built-in extension rod, ActiveTrack 5.0, and magnetic phone clamp.
- Why it’s a deal: The DJI Osmo Mobile 6 is a must-have for content creators filming on their smartphones. Its 3-axis stabilization ensures smooth, cinematic shots. The built-in extension rod adds versatility (hello, selfie mode!). With ActiveTrack 5.0, you can lock onto subjects, ensuring they remain in focus and centered no matter where they move.
Though I will note: while the Osmo Mobile 6 is excellent for most mobile users, it may not be the best fit for those using larger phones or with heavy cases, as it can struggle to balance heavier setups.

- Regular price: $279
- Deal price: $179
- Key features: 4K/120fps video, dual-screen design, waterproof up to 10 meters, and magnetic modular system.
- Why it’s a deal: The DJI Osmo Action 2’s 4K video at 120fps is great for slow-motion shots and fast action shots The dual-screen design allows you to see yourself while recording, making it ideal for vlogging and action selfies. The Action 2 is also waterproof up to 10 meters, making it a fantastic companion for water sports, snorkeling, and more.
Amazon Deal Days 2024: the ultimate guide to hacking the best deals
Amazon Deal Days, the fall equivalent to Prime Day, is your chance to grab top-notch tech products at a fraction of the price. Drones, especially from leading brands like DJI, Autel Robotics, and Holy Stone, are often deeply discounted during these sales, making it the perfect time to upgrade or start your drone collection.
In order to be eligible to shop the deals, you must be an Amazon Prime member, which costs $139 per year. However, here’s a tip: sign up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime. That allows you to still shop the deals. From there, you can just cancel your membership within the 30-day period if you decide not to keep it — and avoid paying the $139 for Amazon Prime membership.
Tricks for finding the biggest discounts on Amazon Deal Days 2024
- Set price alerts: Use Amazon’s “Watch This Deal” feature to track prices. That way you’re really sure if the advertised Amazon Deal Days 2024 price is that much better than the usual price.
- Check Lightning Deals: Amazon offers limited-time Lightning Deals on certain products. These deals usually last for just a few hours, so check Amazon regularly throughout the day.
- Compare prices off Amazon, too: Amazon is a huge retailer, and the primary focus of this guide. But before jumping on any deal, compare prices with other retailers like Best Buy or Walmart. Many of those retailers are running their own deal days. Even without an official deal, many promise to price match.
- Use credit card rewards: Some credit cards offer extra cash back or rewards for shopping on Amazon. Check your card’s rewards program to see if you can stack savings. In fact, the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Card tends to be the best of them. This card has no annual fee, yet it offers 5% back on Amazon purchases (as well as Whole Foods). For pricey purchases like drones, 5% back can amount to a significant amount — making this card a valuable one in your wallet.
Happy flying, and happy savings!
