Adorama EDU offers exclusive drone discounts for teachers
As the new school year approaches, educators might be seeking new gear to provide the best learning experiences for their students. Adorama’s new program designed for educators—Classroom Connect: Adorama EDU makes that possible through major teacher discounts. But, you’ll need to act fast as enrollment ends on September 30.
Drones are a great way to keep students engaged with learning and are an excellent addition to any STEM program. However, the cost is certainly a barrier for many educators.
Luckily, with Adorama EDU educators can save up to 20% off on many of Adorama’s top products, including drones. Here are all the details about (including how to sign up for) Classroom Connect: Adorama EDU:
How much teachers can save through Adorama EDU
Classroom Connect: Adorama EDU is a specialized program offering exclusive discounts and benefits to educators. Educators enrolled in Adorama EDU receive a range of benefits — though the primary one is saving money.
Once enrolled, educators get up to 20% off thousands of products and an extra 6% discount on pre-owned items. Though not everything on Adorama’s website qualifies for the discount, some major drone companies are available:
PGYTECH, a major drone company participating in Classroom Connect, offers products like a protective carrying case for the DJI Mavic 3.
Sony stands out for drone pilots who might be interested in their Alpha cameras or the Airpeak S1 Professional drone.
Other participating brands include Fujifilm, Panasonic, SanDisk, and more.
Notably, DJI, the leading consumer drone brand, is not participating in the Adorama EDU program.
How to enroll in Adorama EDU
Getting started with Adorama EDU is a straightforward process:
1. Set up an Adorama user account: If you don’t already have one, you’ll need to create one on the Adorama website. It’s free to join.
2. Complete the SheerID online verification: Fill out the SheerID online verification application with your personal and professional information to confirm your eligibility. To verify, you’ll need a school-issued email address, and one of the following documents: an official letter from your institution, a teacher ID card, or a pay stub within the last 90 days. The documents must include your full name, the name of your school or logo, and a date within the current academic year (or within 90 days of today’s date).
3. Verification confirmation: After submitting your application, you’ll receive a confirmation message once your verification is complete.
4. Start Shopping: Once verified, you can begin shopping and taking advantage of the exclusive offers available through Adorama EDU.
